Application Notes: |
On the ACU-Z1 and Z2 Controller, the Dispatch section of the user interface provides system operators the ability to both listen to and communicate with select resources. Additional microphone channels may also be bridged to other resources by placing them in a shared Net. Audio shared between resources within the same Net is isolated from the dispatch functionality – the Dispatcher will not hear bridged resources and they will not hear the Dispatcher.
The MCC-4 Multi-Channel Console interfaces into Z2 Controller/ACU-Z1 wide-area systems along with various resources from remote RSP-Z2 devices. One button on the console may function as the Dispatch Source, while others may be bridged to other remote resources.
The MCC-4 Multi-Channel Console is capable of connecting directly to remote RSP-Z2 devices as part of a static configuration. This is useful for applications that require monitoring multiple channels, such as radio talkgroups, JPS VIA talkgroups, or a conference bridge.
The Single Channel version of the MCC-4 Multi-Channel Console is ideal for small applications, functioning as a Dispatch interface or as a direct connection to a single resource, such as a radio channel.
