System operators and individual users of the gateways’ various communications systems can now communicate via Smartphones and tablets.
Customers simply purchase the service through JPS, download the application to their Smartphones from the Google Play or Apple App Store, and are charged a monthly service fee per mobile device used. Wireless Carrier Independent and Cross Carrier Capable, this is an inexpensive option for customers seeking to extend their radio communications capability with lower cost cellular devices. On-premise systems are available by request.
This allows the many ESChat-enabled products currently offered to directly connect with JPS gateways and NXU radio interfaces – most importantly for both new deployments or with the large installed base of JPS products.
Below the JPS VIA PoC APP connects to the JPS VIA Server, which then goes to the JPS RoIP port on the ACU-M. This allows interoperability between the LMR system on the right, and the JPS VIA APP users on the left. This saves the cost and resources of everyone having to use LMR radios, the PoC APP users are on the LMR radio network.
The Use Case below shows the college administration and college security group on the right using the JPS VIA APP to communicate through the JPS VIA server to the RSP-Z2. The RSP-Z2 then allows the JPS VIA users to connect to the LMR college security. Above all, everybody can connect to the police dispatch on the left when necessary.
